DIAMOND BAR -- An armed and apparently disguised robber held up a Diamond Bar bank Friday, authorities said.
The crime was reported just before 12:40 p.m. at the Cathay Bank branch at Diamond Bar Boulevard and Grand Avenue, Los Angeles County sheriff's Sgt. Brett Bodenstedt said.
The robber was described as a white man in his 40s in a tan jacket, who appeared to be wearing a fake mustache and black wig, the sergeant said. He was armed with a black handgun.
Witnesses last saw the robber leaving the bank, he added. No injuries were reported.
