PASADENA -- Police jailed a man Wednesday after someone reported recognizing the man from a September robbery, authorities said.
Terrell Dixon, 24, of Pasadena was booked on suspicion of strong-arm robbery, Pasadena police Lt. Tracey Ibarra said.
A man in his 30s called police after recognizing Dixon as the man who snatched his cell phone from him as he drove in the 200 block of Carlton Avenue on Sept. 24, the lieutenant said.
The alleged victim was in the same area where he had his cell phone stolen when he spotted Dixon Wednesday, Ibarra said.
Officers found Dixon in walking in the 100 block of East Orange Grove Boulevard and arrested him, she said.
According to sheriff's booking records, Dixon was being held in lieu of $50,000 bail. No information was available regarding his initial court appearance.
