PASADENA -- A man died Saturday morning when his motorcycle collided with a big-rig in a tunnel on the 210 Freeway, authorities said.
The crash was reported just after 10 a.m. on a tunnel that connects two portions of the eastbound 210 Freeway, near the 134 Freeway interchange, California Highway Patrol officer Monica Posada said.
A man, initially estimated to be about 30 years old, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to CHP logs.
The circumstances of the crash were not available Saturday afternoon, Posada said.
A Sig Alert was issued for the connector road for nearly three hours following the crash, officials said.
