PASADENA -- A robber snatched a purse from a woman's shoulder Tuesday, police said.
The crime occurred about 6:40 p.m. in the 800 block of N. Marengo Avenue, Pasadena police Lt. Tracey Ibarra said.
The woman, who was in her 50s, was walking when the robber came up from behind her, grabbed her purse and ran away, the lieutenant said.
He was described as a black man in his 20s, about 5 feet 5 inches tall, about 135 pounds and wearing black clothes, Ibarra said.
