Takeover bank robbery reported in Rowland Heights
ROWLAND HEIGHTS -- Four armed and masked men carried out a takeover-style robbery at a Rowland Heights bank branch Wednesday, authorities said.
Three employees were hospitalized with apparently minor injuries after being struck in the head during the robbery, Los Angeles County sheriff's Sgt. Angie Wilkinson said.
The crime was reported about 9:20 a.m. at the Cathay Bank, 17432 Colima Road, the sergeant said.
The robbers were described only as four black men with handguns, wearing hooded sweat shirts and masks, she said.
They fled the scene in a white Toyota sedan which deputies found abandoned a few blocks away from the bank, Wilkinson said. The car had been reported stolen.
The FBI, which investigated bank robberies, is assisting the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department in the investigation.

Same-o-Same-o: 3-11 Wed. 0930hr Appears Cathay Bank on Colima Rd., Rowland Hts got hit Again, another group of 4-5 Crip bank robbing terrorists wearing masks, hooded-up, baggy pants waving guns ordering innocent customers to the floor at gun point, jumping the counter grabbing up cash, strolling out and dumping the the first stolen get-a-way car and heading back to the jungle. Again no mention of any pro-active security measures just "No Comment".
Since the crew that hit Rosemead last Friday are back in slammer we'll call these Crip Crackheads "20 Question Gang Kopy-Kats Crips"
Hey Lt. Dan West Covina we need some help here!, something 'FISHY' going on with the Asian banks getting hit with no security and nobody see's nuting.
3-10-10... Just a tip to folks that have a interest in bank robberies; store articles and comments in your "Save" file on your computer, they have a habit of disappearing from the internet real fast / forever once the banking cartels see their name in print.
