Fatal motorycle crash reported in La Verne

LA VERNE — A motorcyclist died Saturday after colliding with another vehicle on the 210 Freeway, authorities said.
Lincoln Juarez, 37, of Canyon Country died at the scene of the crash, coroner’s officials said.
The crash was reported just after 9 a.m. on the eastbound 210 Freeway, just west of Fruit Street, California Highway Patrol Sgt. Jesse Holguin said in a written statement.
The rider was thrown from his 2008 Harley Davidson and pronounced dead at the scene after colliding with a 2006 Jeep Cherokee being driven by a 19-year-old Cypress man, Holguin said.
It appeared that either the motorcycle or the Jeep made an unsafe lane change, he said, however officials were continuing to investigate which vehicle caused the crash.
Any witnesses to the crash are asked to call the Baldwin Park office of the CHP at (626) 338-1164.

  1. May he rest in peace and perpetual light shine upon him Motorcycles are almost an addiction and it would be appreciated if motorists would look out for them and try to give them space.

  2. Lincoln The most nicest, sweetest, funny guy, you will be terribly missed!! May you rest in peace.
My sincere condolences to your family.
You will remain in our hearts for an eternity.

  4. Lincoln…we had a great time working together on the wind turbines in Tehachapi. An exceptional upcoming electrical mechanic, but more important, as others have said…a great person! Always had a contagious smile. You will be missed…Your Bros at Pinetree Windfarm.

  5. God blessed our football team with a great coach and most importantly a great mentor, May god bless his family and most importantly his son. Our boys will miss him dearly.

  6. Lincoln…. My friend since Elementary School, we kept in touch throughout the years, and no matter the age, it always felt like we were back at Washington Elementary. I’m just thinking of all the good times we had throughout the years, like Piercing Mike Laue’s ear in our 5th grade class with a blunt paper clip till he turned white and fainted, We thought he was dead!!!! Hanging out at John Muir and Mc Cambridge, Elliot Street, Gus’s shack. It was always fun. I remember Lincoln being a smart guy who would get good grades without trying. I also remember that in Junior High School he had law books in his locker because he wanted to know what to say to the cops when they would mess with him. As a kid, he spent his summers working for the city, while we sat around, that explains why he had money for school clothes and we didn’t. A few years ago, going to the after hour clubs was fun, watching him just relax and have fun was really memorable. He stayed till the Morning at my B-day last year and professed his love for our 2nd grade Teacher Miss Spradling. He had us Laughing all night talking about that. Recently we hung out at a Friends Party and made fun of “The Glove”, Our friends Billiards glove which he said was”Gay” (We both said it). Like Gus said, “Life isn’t going to be the same without him.

  28. My precious beloved little brother Lincoln, my heart and soul yearns for your loss. I was always proud of you, the world lost a great man, father, son, brother and dear friend. I can not wait until we are together again, laughing, eating, drinking and playing bones. I feel like my compass lost it’s needle, I am so lost and filled with fear on how I going to move forward. I see little signs here and there a harley ride, a DWP crew, or a song playing on the radio which bring you to mind. So tell myself, ok Lincoln I get it these are signs from you to move forward. But baby brother if you get a chance please come to me in a dream so I can hug one more time and tell you “I love you brother” Oh and God take care of my baby brother, let him not worry. Please let him see all the love from all who ever met him.
