Man wounded in Norwalk drive-by shooting

NORWALK — Three attackers wounded a man Friday in a drive-by shooting in in a residential neighborhood in Norwalk, authorities said.
The shooting was reported about 11 a.m. in the 1400 block of Marrilla Avenue, Los Angeles County sheriff’s Lt. Steve Kenny said.
A man was shot in the foot by three assailants as they passed by in a black, full-size car, the lieutenant said. The wound was not believed to be life-threatening.
The attackers were described only as three Latino men in their early 20s, Kenny said.
He added that the shooting appeared to be gang related and is being handled by sheriff’s gang investigators.
