NORWALK -- Deputies arrested a man Wednesday on suspicion of shooting at, but missing, two other men, authorities said.
James Walls, 21, of Huntington Beach was booked on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon, Los Angeles County sheriff's Lt. Steve Kenny said.
The incident was reported about 5:15 p.m. in the 14600 block of Paddison Avenue, near Firestone Boulevard, Kenny said.
Walls allegedly fired shots at two men in their early 20s, missed, and fled on foot, the lieutenant said.
Deputies searched the area, found the suspect and recovered a gun, he added.
A motive in the shooting wasn't clear, he said, though it was not believed to be gang related.
