EL MONTE — A Whittier woman died Wednesday in a solo-car crash on the 10 Freeway, authorities said.
A 28-year-old woman, whose name was being withheld pending notification of her family, was killed in the crash, California Highway Patrol Sgt. Mike Dulong said in a written statement.
A passenger in the car, 25-year-old Alonso Navarro of Whittier, was arrested due to an outstanding arrest warrant, officials said. He was described as the woman’s boyfriend.
The crash occurred about 2:30 p.m. on the 10 Freeway, just east of the Durfee Avenue undercrossing, as a 1995 Nissan Maxima being driven by the woman was westbound in the fast lane, Dulong said.
“For unknown reasons, she allowed her vehicle to veer to the left and collide with a concrete center median wall,” the sergeant said.
The woman was partially thrown from the car and pronounced dead at the scene by firefighters, officials said.
Only the passenger can shed a light on what really happened. I hope he’ll be able to explain to the woman’s family what really happened.

A friend of a friend knew this person, they said that when the car hit a pot hole, then started hopping , more then likely a strut broke , its important that you, and those who drive around you take your car to a mechanic once a year , when you take your car to an oil change place, they check fluids, most independent shops check the car bumper to bumper for your safety as well as those around you.
As far as the individual sitting passenger in the car crash, He should not be either blamed, or judged upon like the previous comment stated. The car was not properly maintained, and their are many people around the scene that WITNESSED Her boyfriend try giving her CPR and try to bring her back to life immediately after the incident.

Antonette was under a lot of pressures and dealing with life is an every day torture,we should all remember the tools that were given to us in sobriety and forget the easy answers. Like previously stated we cannot judge anyone because in reality anything coul’ve gone wrong Our girl is going to be missed and I pray for her kids. We can all honor her by being there for her kids.We Love You Girl. RIP Loca!!!

Your cousin Linda just called me Antonette to tell me about you passing away in this car crash. Even tho it has been a very long time since I saw you last I hope you know that your death has hurt me deep in my heart. You were to me just a little girl inside who was always looking to be loved. I loved you dear child. I am so sad and so sorry that your life was cut short. RIP as you now sleep with the angels. You will be missed.

Antoinette’s car wasn’t perfect, but I know she tried to take car of it and any little noise she would look into. and I know we shouldn’t judge but I also know that God exposes. But either way, I’m glad my sister is in heaven and away from all this madness. For all the people who really did care about her “thank you” and for the people who used her death to profit, “I give it to God”. Because I have lots of anger on top of sadness, but there’s nothing we can do now. No more warning her about the people around her, pretending to love her, when we were the ones who loved her the most. I love you Antoinette! and I pray that everyone takes this and learns from it. You never know when your last day will be. Ask for forgiveness while you still can. I love you Net! and I’ll be thinking of you everyday.
A lot of ppl say what they want and believe what they want! I know antoinette had a good heart and best of intentsions I believe the ppl around her brought her down. The women who loved her are her sober sisters and I know we will meet again someday. For the ppl in their addiction just know that this disease leads us to jails,institutions, and death! For my family in recovery remember our disease is cunning, baffeling, powerful, and paitent. Antoinette I love u girl and know that u never stood alone. We were there for u and will continue to be their for jasmine and moses! As far as the ppl that r said to have stolen $. Believe it takes a real sick person to do that. It doesn’t make u a bad ass it makes u sick! And u will pay for ur actions! RIP our Fallen Angel! U will be missed!

You are missed so very deeply yet we know & trust God in His infinite wisdom & love for you snatched you out of this world to deliver you from all the craziness… You suffered enuf… Time to come home where there’s true peace & safety… What can they do to you now? God is so great! & so much more powerful then they could ever be! I’m thankful for the love inside of you .. You touched us in a way that will never be forgotten & you won’t. Thank you for being there for that one who’s name I wont mention, but they needed you more than anyone at that time & miraculously you were there to bring comfort & peace. Without you ever knowing it.. By being there for them.. You were there for me & I love you for that.. I only wish I could have told you.. But you know now 🙂
