Man leaves empty-handed after failed bank heist in Pasadena

PASADENA — A would-be robber apparently got cold feet Tuesday during an attempted bank heist, police said.
The incident was reported about 2 p.m. at Wells Fargo, 82 S. Lake Ave., Pasadena police Lt. Pete Hettema said.
The failed robber was initially described only as a Latino man in his 30s with dark hair, the lieutenant said. Police were trying to gather a more complete description.
He entered the bank and presented a teller with a note demanding money, police said.
He then apparently became nervous and ran from the bank empty-handed, Hettema said.
