Man wounded in Pasadena shooting

PASADENA — A 26-year-old Pasadena man was expected to survive Wednesday after he was shot several times in the torso, police said.
Few details were available about the attempted murder, which took place about 10:30 p.m. Tuesday in the 200 block of Douglas Street, Pasadena police Lt. Tom Delgado said.
Witnesses reported hearing gunshots, then the sound of a car speeding away, he said. The victim was then found lying wounded in the street.
No description of the attacker or motive in the shooting was clear, police said. The investigation was ongoing.
