WHITTIER -- An occupied house and a car were struck by bullets in a drive-by shooting late Tuesday, though no one was injured, authorities said.
The shooting was reported about 10:30 p.m. in the 13000 block of Racimo Drive, in an unincorporated county area just south of Whittier, Los Angeles County sheriff's Sgt. Glenn Emery said.
A car passed by and someone inside opened fire, striking a house and car, he said. No one in the home was hurt.
A description of the shooter or vehicle was not available.
The investigation was being handled by sheriff's gang investigators, Emery said.
