LA HABRA — Authorities Tuesday released the name of a 20-year-old La Habra man killed in a motorcycle crash on Euclid Avenue.
Bryan Hodges died at the scene of Monday’s 5:22 p.m. crash on Euclid Avenue at Country Hills Drive, just south of Imperial Highway, according to Orange County coroner’s officials.
The initial investigation indicated Hodges and another motorcyclist were southbound on Euclid Avenue as a passenger car being driven by a licensed teenager was making a left turn from northbound Euclid Avenue onto Country Hills Drive, La Habra police Sgt. Dean Capelletti said.
“One of (the motorcyclists) was able to avoid the vehicle, the other one was not,” he said.
The motorcycle and car collided, fatally injuring Hodges, officials said.
The cause of the crash remained under investigation, Capelletti said, however nothing criminal was initially suspected.
