Monrovia: lights, camera, gunfire

MONROVIA -- Police advised residents to expect the sounds of gunfire Wednesday as a production crew makes a film.
A movie crew was scheduled to be working in the parking lot of the closed Super A Foods at Duarte Road and 6th Avenue between 9:30 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monrovia police said in a written statement.
"The production company will be firing blanks to simulate gunfire for the movie sporadically throughout (Wednesday) and maybe heard if you work or reside in the surrounding area," according to the statement.
Anyone with questions or concerns can call the Monrovia Police Department at 626-256-8000.
