WEST COVINA -- Police arrested two parolees in a stolen car Sunday at the Westfield West Covina shopping mall, officials said.
A Baldwin Park police officer spotted a vehicle that had been reported stolen driving on the south end of town about 6:15 p.m., Baldwin Park police Sgt. Kevin Gauthier said.
The officer called for backup and followed the car as it got onto the 10 Freeway, then exited at Vincent Avenue in West Covina, the sergeant said.
Officers pulled over the car near the Bob's Big Boy restaurant in the Westfield West Covina shopping mall and arrested them without a struggle, Gauthier said.
The suspects' names were not available late Sunday pending booking, police said.
