ALHAMBRA -- The murder trial was postponed Wednesday for a San Gabriel man accused of killing his ex-girlfriend.
Trial for Isaac Campbell, 36, was scheduled to begin Wednesday in Alhambra Superior Court, however it was continued until Sept. 7, court officials said.
He is charged with the murder of Liya "Jessie" Lu, 31, of San Gabriel, who went missing in August of 2007.
A month later, her body was discovered in a trash can Campbell had left at a friend's home in Arcadia, officials said. Authorities then arrested Campbell in Minnesota.
