Task force jails four on suspicion of Pasadena robberies

PASADENA -- A task force of law enforcement agencies rounded up four Pasadena gang members suspected in a series of street robberies over the past two months during an early-morning raid.
Thomas Hampton, 23, Andree Alleyene, 27, Levelle Metoyer, 28, and Rashad McCoy, 23, were arrested in connection at least a half-dozen street robberies in Pasadena over the past two months, Pasadena police Sgt. David Reavis said. All are believed to me Pasadena gang members.
The robberies took place throughout the city over the past two months, the sergeant said. In some cases, a gun was brandished.
As part of an ongoing investigation, officials from the Pasadena, Burbank and Monterey Park police departments, along with U.S. Marshals, the FBI, the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department and the parole officials searched locations in Pasadena, Altadena, Duarte and Alhambra, police said.
In addition to the robbery suspects, three other people were arrested for other crimes as authorities carried out the search warrants, Reavis said.
The investigation continues, and police continued seeking additional robbery suspects.
