MONTEREY PARK -- Authorities released the name Tuesday of a young woman who was found dead after attending a house party.
Jessica Moreno, 20, of Monterey Park, was pronounced dead after she was found unresponsive about 10:30 a.m. Sunday at a home in the 2300 block of Isabel Avenue, Los Angeles County Department of Coroner Assistant Chief of Operations Ed Winter said.
Moreno was a guest at a party held at the home Saturday night, where she had been drinking with friends, police and coroner's officials said.
Her cause of death remained under investigation by coroner's officials, however foul play was not initially suspected.
