Checkpoint planned in Baldwin Park

BALDWIN PARK — A coalition of area law enforcement agencies known as “Avoid the 100” will hold a sobriety and driver’s license checkpoint Sunday.
The checkpoint will be held at an undisclosed time and place within the city, Baldwin Park police officials said in a written statement.
Funding for the operation is being provided by a grant from the California Office of Traffic Safety, through the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
