ARCADIA -- A pizzeria will donate a portion of it's profits Wednesday to the Alhambra Police Officers' Association for their 2012 Peace Officer's Memorial Day activities, officials said.
California Pizza Kitchen at the Westfield Santa Anita shopping mall, 400 S. Baldwin Ave., will donate 20 percent of profits from both dine-in and take-out orders from 11 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. when customers mention the Alhambra Police Officers' Association, Alhambra police Lt. Jennifer Wiese said.
Wiese plans to take part in the Peace Officer's Memorial Day activities, beginning May 9 in New Jersey, which culminate with a memorial bicycle ride to Washington, D.C.
At the upcoming memorial event, Alhambra officials will ride in honor of Alhambra police Officer Ryan Stringer, 26, who was killed in an on-duty car crash on July 10, 2011.
