GLENDORA -- A bicyclist was flown to the hospital with major injuries Tuesday after colliding with a car, police said.
The crash took place just before 12:45 p.m. at Glendora Street and Gladstone Avenue, Glendora police Lt. Joe Ward said.
The bicyclist, who was initially described as a man in his 40s or 50s, was flown by helicopter to a hospital with injuries that were believed to be life-threatening, the lieutenant said.
The driver of the passenger car involved in the crash remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators, Ward said.
Nothing criminal was initially suspected, however the investigation was ongoing.
