Used car batteries taken in Glendora Wal-Mart burglary

GLENDORA — Someone stole more than 50 used car batteries from a Wal-Mart store earlier this week, police said.
The crime took place sometime between 7:45 a.m. Tuesday and 7:45 a.m. Wednesday, Glendora police Lt. Rob Lamborghini said.
Workers at the store, 1950 Auto Center Drive, noticed a metal cage that houses used car batteries for recycling had been broken into, and a pallet containing 50 to 60 batteries — valued at about $9 each — had been taken.
