WHITTIER — Police are seeking three men who slashed one man’s face with a broken bottle, and struck another man over the head with a bottle during a fight outside a bar in Uptown Whittier early Friday.
Initial reports indicated three men became involved in a fight with three other men about 12:45 a.m. inside a bar in the 7000 block of Greenleaf Avenue, Whittier police Lt. Carlos Solorza said.
The combatants were kicked out of the bar, the lieutenant said.
Once outside, someone in the group of suspects struck one of the victims over the head with a bottle, while another slashed another victim in the face with a broken bottle, Solorza said.
Both injured men were hospitalized with injuries not believed to be life-threatening, he said.
A description of the attackers was not available Friday morning.
