  1. Shocking that a police officer could be so brazen and continue the tirade after he explains to the officer he’s not doing anything illegal.

This isn’t the first time that I have heard of an LA County Sheriff to take a heavy hand this way.

Of course all the photographer could have done to prevent the escalation is explain he’s doing this personal pictures and that should have put a stop to it.

  2. This is ridiculous & disturbing. I am thankful for the good law enforcement officers we have protecting us, but I in no way feel safe in the care of these two individuals.

  3. I’m thinking that this “photographer” has too much time and technology on his hands. Maybe a job would help.

  4. Sounds and looks to me that the Deputy was doing his job well and was trying to protect a potential terrorist target. Fortunately, the deputy was correct in everything he said and did and the photographer was resistant at every step of the way. Additionally, thinking you know your rights and the rules when you are wrong is no reason to argue over them at this time and place. It is a non winning argument. A different attitude as well as answering the deputy’s questions accurately and without the questioning and commentary would have provided for a different and better outcome.
This is exactly the type of observation, investigation and protection I would want at every level of security of the transit system.

  5. I am not at all suprised by the officers actions. The police and all political parties are ilegal and get away with murder if need be. Just another ignorent cop that probably only has a high school diploma thinks he is above the law cause he has a badge. I have been harrassed by police cause of my race and ofcourse cause they think they can get away with it. Screw the police. As you can see the cop was making up anything just so he could handcuff the kid. The cop cant admit when he is wrong. An guess what. He probably will get away with it. Alkida? WTF!! The pig is reachn. Too funny. Stand up for your rights. Dont let the police and government lie to you.

  6. I’m happy to know that these officers took the time to investigate this creep. The detention was not illegal, in fact the officer did his job in investigating if at all a crime was committed. Criminals never admit to breaking the law, so why should this deputy believe this guy? Good job LASO!
