POMONA - Los Angeles County Sheriff's deputies are investigating an officer-involved shooting that left an unidentified man dead Sunday.

Pomona officers were on patrol at 8:40 a.m. in the 900 block of West Holt Avenue when they spotted a man and women in a back alley. The man became "uncooperative and violent," according to sheriff's department release.

During that contact, the man was shot and died at the scene. There was no information available on whether the man had a weapon or was under the influence of alcohol or drugs at the time.

The dead man's name was not immediately available.

He wasn't armed! he didn't deserve to get beaten and killed by these monstrous officers!

He was a young Hispanic male sitting in his car with his girlfriend.

Pomona or sheriffs didn't even contact the family (mom and dad), they found out by recognizing the moms car in the news report. The reason obviously is because Pomona is going to cover this up and spin this magically. That is why they (Pomona and Sheriffs) are not releasing any information and being tight lipped about it.

The officers suspected he had a gun and shot him. Suspicion alone does not merit the officers actions. I  understand police safety is number one, but that is why police have protocols and procedures to make sure a person/suspect is unarmed. Think about it...a police office can kill you and it all gets covered up because of politics. We are not in Mexico!!! This coverup should not be allowed to happen here. The media should be all over this.
