Work crews slow traffic on 210 Freeway

LA VERNE -- Traffic on the 210 Freeway is expected to be slowed through this afternoon as work crews shut down up to two lanes in either direction, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Crews will be spraying vegetation on the roadway until about 3 p.m., CHP Officer Francisco Villalobos said.
The work will require them to shut down up to two lanes on the right-hand side of the freeway a they make their way between Baseline Road and the San Bernardino County line, first westbound, then eastbound, officials said.
