Man stabbed to death in South Whittier
WHITTIER -- Homicide detectives are investigating the stabbing death of a man late Saturday in an unincorporated county area just south of Whittier.
The stabbing was reported just before 9 p.m. in the 10100 block of Mills Avenue, Los Angeles County sheriff's officials said.
The victim, initially described only as a Latino man, was taken to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead, according to Lt. Kim Unland of the Sheriff's Headquarter's Bureau.
No further details were released.
