PASADENA — A parked SUV appeared to be the only target of a Summit Avenue shooting late Tuesday, police said.

Residents of the 1900 block of North Summit Avenue arrived home about 10 p.m. to find several bullet holes in a 1989 Jeep Cherokee left parked in the neighborhood, Pasadena police Lt. Rick Aversano said.

After investigating, police believed the shooting took place about 8 p.m., the lieutenant said.
