PASADENA — Someone shot out a window at Pasadena Superior Court early Friday with what was initially believed to be a shotgun, authorities said.
Employees arrived at the courthouse, 300 E. Walnut Ave., about 7:30 a.m. and discovered one of the windows had apparently been shot out, Pasadena police Sgt. Ed Calatayud said.
Police initially suspected the window had been shattered by a blast from a shotgun, he added.
Police had responded to a call reporting a gunshot in the same area about 1 a.m., the sergeant said, however officers found no signs of a shooting at the time.
