ALTADENA -- The search continued Saturday for two missing persons -- one elderly and one mentally disabled -- who wandered away from their respective homes earlier this week.
Johnny Burton, 72, was last seen about 11 a.m. Thursday leaving his home in the 2800 block of Nido Drive, near Hahamongha Watershed Park, Los Angeles County sheriff's officials said in a written statement.
He suffers from occasional forgetfulness and is easily confused, authorities added.
He's black, 5 feet 10 inches tall and 155 pounds. He's missing most of his teeth, and was last seen wearing a long-sleeve yellow shirt, blue jeans, a black jacket and black boots.

A second missing person case was reported Friday, officials said, after 27-year-old Arsen Bayramyan, who is mentally disabled, wandered away from his home on North Glenrose Avenue about 8:30 a.m., authorities said.
He requires medication, and his family is very concerned and asking the public's help, investigators said.
Bayramyan is described as white, 5 feet 9 inches tall, 205 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a brown sweater and black sweat pants.
Anyone with information on either case is asked to contact detectives Abraham or Harris at Sheriff's Homicide Bureau's Missing Persons Detail at 323-890-5500.
