Two suspected in Santa Fe Springs BB gun vandalism spree

SANTA FE SPRINGS – Investigators arrested a man and a 17-year-old boy Tuesday for using a BB gun to shoot out the windows of businesses and parked cars in Santa Fe Springs.
Whittier police spokesman Officer Bradley White said there are 45 victims, so far, of the vandalism spree which happened the end of January to Feb. 20.
He estimated damages at several thousands of dollars.
White said Matthew Saucedo, 20, of Santa Fe Springs and a Bell Gardens teen were arrested on suspicion of felony vandalism, cited and released.
Detectives will present the case to the District Attorney’s Office Wednesday, he added.
