Search continues for missing Arcadia sex offender

ARCADIA — The search continued Sunday for an Arcadia sex offender suffering from dementia and medical problems who went missing last week, police said.
James Randall McCain, 58, was last seen about 4 p.m. March 12 at his home in the 1100 block of West Huntington Drive, Arcadia police officials said.
McCain was recently diagnosed with dementia and has also been suffering from other health problems, officials said. He’s described as looking jaundiced.
McCain is a registered sex offender for a conviction of lewd or lascivious actis with a child under 14, according to the state database.
The missing man does not drive and has not family in the area, police added.
He’s described as white, 6-feet tall, 175 pounds, with brown hair. He was last seen wearing a light blue polo shirt and jeans.
