Search continues for Bellflower teen who’s been missing for more than four months

Sheriff’s officials and worried family members continued their search Thursday for a 17-year-old girl who’s been missing for more than four months.
Maribel Renteria was reported missing by her father on Nov. 30, according to Deputy Lillian Peck of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Headquarter’s Bureau.
A resident of Bellflower, she was last seen leaving a relative’s house in Long Beach, officials said.
She is officially listed as a runaway, officials said, is could be in Pico Rivera, El Monte, Bellflower, Paramount or Orange County.
“No foul play is expected, but her family is extremely concerned for her well-being,” Peck said.
Renteria is described as Latino, about 5 feet 8 inches tall, 140 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.
Anyone with information is asked to call authorities immediately.
