MONTEBELLO — Police found a Honda Civic taken in a carjacking but are still looking for the armed man who stole it.

Montebello police Lt. Ron Santo said the 2000 Honda Civic turned up in Pico Rivera about three hours after it was stolen from the 800 block of Oakwood Street in Montebello.

He said the driver was sitting in the car just after 9:30 p.m. Thursday when a man walked up to her and demanded the Civic at gunpoint.

Santo said the woman wasn’t injured during the carjacking. The suspect was only described as a Latino.
