Three suspected in Arcadia burglary

ARCADIA — Police arrested a Duarte man and man and woman from La Puente Wednesday on suspicion of breaking into a Panorama Drive home.
Brian Magallanes, 19, of Duarte, Eulises Andres, 19, of La Puente and Stephanie Iraheta, 18, of La Puente were booked on suspicion of burglary, according to Arcadia police Sgt. Stan Flores.
The incident began when a resident of the 900 block of Panorama Drive called police to report a suspicious man had knocked at his door and asked for someone who did not live there, the sergeant said. The resident also spotted a parked car that appeared to be connected to the suspicious man.
Police responded to the neighborhood and located the car, where the driver, Iraheta, was detained, Flores said.
Moments later, a second person called from the 1000 block of Panorama Drive to report confronting two male intruders as they exited the back door of his house, the sergeant said.
“The two rand down his driveway toward the street, at which time they saw the police officers,” Flores said. The two subjects then ran back into the rear yard and jumped over a wall.”
Officers searched the area and ultimately found Magallanes and Andres in a nearby construction site.
It was not immediately clear what, if anything, was taken from the burgled home in the the 1000 block of Panorama Drive, police said.
