Thieves flee with Whittier school’s iPads

WHITTIER
– Two teenage suspects took advantage of an unlocked classroom door and
swiped two iPads valued at $1,800 from a local school Friday night.

Sheriff’s Sgt. Chris Mouat said the suspects took the computers from
Orchard Dale Elementary School, 10625 S. Cole Road, at 5:39 p.m.

A teacher saw two Latinos, about 14 and with long hair running from the location, Mouat said.

The school is in an unincorporated county area near Whittier.
