Man wounded in Hacienda Heights shooting

HACIENDA HEIGHTS — Detectives are seeking two men who shot and wounded another man in Hacienda Heights late Saturday after questioning him about his gang affiliation.
The shooting was reported at 10:07 p.m. near Turnbull Canyon Road and Vallecito Drive, Sgt. D. Creighton of the Los Angeles County sheriff’s Industry Station said.
A 19-year-old man was standing in the residential neighborhood when two attackers, described only as Latino men, pulled up and asked him, “do you bang?” the sergeant said.
The victim did not respond and one of the men in the car opened fire, striking the victim once, Creighton said.
The bullet went through the victim’s arm and into his abdomen, Creighton said, and he was hospitalized in stable condition.
