Man wounded in Norwalk stabbing

NORWALK — A man in his 30s was stabbed during a dispute with another man Tuesday night.
Sheriff’s Lt. Frank Rivera said it’s believed the suspect used a knife in the attack which was reported at 6:10 p.m.
He said the victim was on Horst Avenue and Alondra Boulevard when the suspect confronted him. Rivera didn’t know what the confrontation was about or if the two men knew each other.
The assailant stabbed the victim in the upper body then took off running, Rivera said. Deputies searched the area but couldn’t find the suspect.
The injured man was taken to UC Irvine Medical Center and was listed in stable condition, Rivera said.
There was no description given for the suspect.
