INDUSTRY — Shots were fired but no one appeared to have been wounded during an argument in a night club parking lot late Friday, authorities said.
The shooting was reported shortly after 11:30 p.m. in the parking lot of Luxy 101, 18043 Gale Ave., Los Angeles County sheriff’s Lt. Arthur Scott said.
Two groups who were sitting in parked cars became involved in an argument, he said.
As one of the cars began driving away, one of the occupants got out and fired about seven rounds from a handgun at the other group before getting back into the car, which fled, Scott said.
The apparent targets of the shooting left before deputies arrived, the lieutenant said, and a check of area hospitals turned up no gunshot victims believed to be related to the incident.
A suspect description was not available.
