Missing La Habra woman, dog, found safe in Buena Park

BUENA PARK — A 71-year-old La Habra woman and her dog who went missing last week have both been found safe in Buena Park, authorities said.
Eulalaia “Lolly” Ynzunza, who suffers from dementia, disappeared from her La Habra home Friday afternoon, La Habra police and concerned family members said. Her small dog was also missing, police said, and it was the four-legged companion that ultimately led to officials tracking her down.
Police and family members circulated fliers and searched for the woman for two days, before she was ultimately found Sunday walking in the area of Beach and La Mirada boulevards in Buena Park, La Habra police Sgt. Brian Miller said. She was not injured.
The dog was found first about 9 p.m,, the sergeant said. The search was then focused on the area where the dog was found, and Ynzunza turned up about an hour later.
She has been reunited with her family, officials added.
