Pasadena man accused of stabbing friend

PASADENA — A Pasadena man was arrested Friday for allegedly stabbing a friend in the stomach.
Lieutenant Cheryl Moody said two men got into a scuffle in the 500 block of North Mentor Avenue at 10:15 p.m.
One stabbed the other then left.
Officers arrested Scotty Blakesley, 28, at his home on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon in connection with the attack, Lt. Diego Torres said.
Moody said the 25-year-old victim was taken to a hospital and was listed in stable condition.
According to county booking records, Blakesley was being held in lieu of $30,000 bail pending his initial court appearance.
