Man critically wounded in fight at Central Park in Pasadena

PASADENA — A Pasadena man in his 30s was critically injured after he was hit in the head during a fight with another man Friday night.
Officers arrested his alleged attacker.
Pasadena Police Lt. Cheryl Moody said the fight broke out at Central Park, 275 S. Raymond Ave. around 6:40 p.m.
She said the suspect picked up some kind of object, possibly a bicycle lock, and hit the other man in the head which knocked him unconscious, officials said.
The injured man was taken to a local hospital where he was listed in critical condition, police said. An update on his condition was not available Saturday.
Bartholomew Ceremony, 42, of Pasadena was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder, officials said.
Ceremony, described as a transient, was also treated for injuries, which weren’t serious, police said.
Ceremony was being held in lieu of $1 million bail pending his initial court appearance.
