AZUSA — Police shot and killed a a man early Monday, officials said.
The fatal officer-involved shooting took place shortly after 12:30 a.m. in the 500 block of South Citrus Avenue.
One suspect, described only as male, was wounded by police gunfire and taken to a hospital where he died from his injuries, Los Angeles County sheriff’s officials said in a written statement.
No information regarding the circumstances of the shooting was released Monday morning. Azusa police deferred all comments to the sheriff’s department, which is assisting in the investigation.
