Two stabbed during Azusa motel fight

AZUSA — Police on Monday reported two men had been stabbed following a fight at an Arrow Highway motel.

The men, who were not identified, were taken to a nearby hospital Sunday night, Azusa police Lt. Paul Dennis said. Neither suffered life-threatening injuries.

No arrests were made and no suspects in the stabbing were identified, Azusa police Sgt. Xavier Torres said.

At 10:40 p.m., officers received a call about men and women fighting at the Monte Carlo Inn at 2685 E. Arrow Highway, Dennis said.

“We had reports of a possible stabbed victim and when we arrived on scene, the subject at that location was bleeding and had a serious laceration to his upper arm,” Dennis said.

Officers later learned that a second person had been stabbed.
