Man robbed outside Arcadia hotel

ARCADIA — Two men armed with both a gun and knife robbed a man early Friday in the parking lot of an Arcadia hotel.
The crime took place about 8:30 a.m. just after a man had checked out of the Hampton Inn, 311 E. Huntington Drive, and was getting into his car, Arcadia police Lt. Colleen Flores said.
The victim told investigators he was approached by two robbers, who he could only described as wearing dark clothing and either black hooded sweat shirts or ski masks, the lieutenant said.
The man, who did not speak English, did not understand what the robbers told him as they brandished a handgun and a knife, Flores said.
They robbed him of items including clothing and a laptop computer before fleeing in black BMW, she said.
