No victims found after West Covina shooting

WEST COVINA — Someone shot up a parked car, however no injuries were reported, following a shooting in a residential neighborhood Monday afternoon, police said.
Officers responded just before 4:40 p.m. to reports of “shots heard” in the 2000 block of E. Walnut Creek Parkway, according to West Covina police Cpl. Rudy Lopez.
Officers found evidence of a shooting including a parked car that had been struck by gunfire, but no shooting victims, Lopez said.
Police described the suspect as a Latino man in a dark-colored Nissan. It was unclear if he was alone or with accomplices.
