PASADENA – A man escaped with an unknown amount of cash after holding up a gas station at gunpoint late Thursday, officials said.
The robbery was reported about 9:50 p.m. at a gas station in the 200 block of North Altadena Drive, near Foothill Boulevard, Pasadena police Lt. Diego Torres said.
A Pasadena man in his 50s was working behind the counter when a black man with dark clothing and a mask covering his face entered the store, pointed a handgun at the clerk and demanded money, Torres said.
The employee handed over an unknown amount of cash, and the robber was last seen fleeing on foot.
