Man robs Arcadia boutique of Chanel purses

ARCADIA — A man threw a female shopkeeper to the floor and fled with two expensive designer purses Saturday at an Arcadia boutique, police said.
The crime took place just after 5 p.m. at Boutique No. 5, 733 W. Naomi Avenue, Suite E, Arcadia police Lt. Mike Castro said.
The robber entered the store and picked up two Chanel handbags, the lieutenant said.
“When the victim tried to take the purses away, she was thrown to the ground,” Castro said. She suffered no significant injuries.
The man then fled with the purses and got into a blue pickup truck with tinted windows, which was last seen driving on Duarte Road.
Policed described him as a white or Latino man between 20 and 25 years old, wearing dark clothing and a hat.
