Two men wounded in Altadena drive-by shooting

ALTADENA — Two men suffered injuries in a drive-by shooting along Altadena Drive Thanksgiving afternoon, police said.
The attack took place shortly before 3:30 p.m. Thursday in the 100 block of West Altadena Drive, Los Angeles County sheriff’s Sgt. Cynthia Gonzalez said.
Deputies responding to reports of a shooting discovered two men who had been struck by gunfire, the sergeant said.
One of the victims was taken to a hospital with injuries not considered to be life-threatening, Gonzalez said. “He’s expected to make a full recovery.”
The other shooting victim suffered an apparently minor injury and was treated at the scene, she added.
The attackers were initially described only as two black men in a blue van with Oregon license plates, officials said. It was last seen heading west on Altadena Drive.
Though the shooting was reportedly gang-related, Gonzales said she could not confirm a motive Friday.
No further details were available.
