Man sought for exposing self to teenage girls in Azusa

AZUSA — Police sought the public’s help over the weekend in tracking down a man who exposed himself to two teenage girls as they walked home from school, officials said.
The incident took place about 3:30 p.m. Friday in the 400 block of Cerritos Avenue, near 5th Street, according to Azusa police Sgt. Andy Sutcliffe.
Two girls, ages 14 and 15, were approached by a man in a burgundy, 1980s- or 1990s-model Mercedes-Benz with tinted rear windows and a dent above the right rear wheel well, the sergeant said. The man called out to the teens.
“As the girls looked toward the vehicle, they noticed the man had his pants down and was exposing his genitals,” Sutcliffe said. “Both girls screamed and the driver fled southbound on Cerritos Avenue.”
Anyone with information was asked to contact Azusa police at 626-812-3200.
